The Panel Hub Shipping and Delivery Policy
At The Panel Hub, we believe that the delivery experience should be as premium as the SoundPanel® itself. Many companies in the acoustic industry rely on international drop-shipping, which often leads to weeks of waiting and a high risk of transit damage. The Panel Hub has revolutionized this process by establishing a Domestic US Stocking Operation. By maintaining deep inventory within the United States, we provide our customers with reliable timelines, superior protective packaging, and white-glove logistics support.
This page outlines our commitment to speed, safety, and transparency throughout the fulfillment cycle. Whether you are a homeowner ordering a single feature wall or a commercial contractor managing a large-scale development, our logistics network is engineered to support your project timeline with precision.
The 2-to-7 Day Delivery Standard
In the world of interior renovation, timing is everything. A delay in material delivery can stall an entire construction crew and push back project completion dates. Because we stock our full catalog of 15mm AcuFelt™ panels in our own domestic warehouses, we eliminate the unpredictability of ocean freight and customs clearances.
Once your order is placed, our fulfillment team typically processes and dispatches your panels within 48 business hours. Depending on your geographical proximity to our regional distribution centers, most customers receive their delivery within 2 to 7 business days. This rapid turnaround allows you to plan your installation with confidence, knowing that your materials will arrive when they are scheduled, not weeks later.
Shipping Fee
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your location, order size, and delivery requirements. Our products vary in size, weight, and delivery needs. Calculating shipping separately allows us to offer the most reliable and appropriate delivery solution for each order.
Shipping fees for orders outside of the US are are also calculated based on your order total and shipping destination. Final charges, including any applicable taxes, duties, or customs fees, will be shown at checkout.
Note: Taxes, duties, and fees imposed by customs or local authorities outside the U.S. are the responsibility of the recipient.
Shipping Method
Doorstep Delivery
With Doorstep Delivery, items are brought to the nearest dry area of your home, such as your entryway, front porch, or garage. A signature is required at the time of delivery to confirm receipt.
This service does not include unpacking or assembly. Walking up 2 flights of stairs is included. If the delivery requires moving items beyond the entry level, for example, upstairs or to another floor without elevator access, additional charges may apply. Delivery appointments are scheduled in advance, and it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone 18 years or older is present at the agreed time. Missed appointments may result in rescheduling fees.

Advanced Protective Packaging Technology
TPH understands that premium wall panels are only as good as the condition they arrive in. That is why delivery is treated as an extension of the product itself, not an afterthought. From packaging to carrier selection, every step is designed to ensure panels arrive safely, on time, and ready to install.
Each order is securely packaged to protect the wood veneer, edges, and felt backing during transit. Panels are reinforced and stacked to prevent shifting, bending, or corner damage, which is a common issue with oversized architectural products. This attention to packaging significantly reduces transit-related issues and ensures the panels look exactly as intended when unboxed.
TPH works with reliable, vetted carriers experienced in handling large-format and fragile materials. Rather than relying on generic drop-ship methods, shipments are planned to balance speed, cost, and care. Tracking information is provided so customers know exactly when to expect delivery, removing uncertainty and allowing installation to be planned confidently.
Reliable Delivery, Handled With Care
Acoustic slat panels are heavy, oversized architectural components that are particularly vulnerable to corner impacts during transit. We have observed the failures of standard marketplace packaging and have developed a superior proprietary crating system to ensure your 3-sided veneer wrap arrives in pristine condition.
Reinforced Impact Zones
Every SoundPanel® shipment is housed in heavy-duty, double-walled corrugated cardboard. We utilize specialized edge-guards and "impact-zones" at the corners of every box. These reinforcements absorb the energy of accidental drops or shifts during transit, protecting the delicate wood slats inside. For orders of more than four panels, we utilize Custom Palletization. By securing the panels to a wooden pallet, we ensure they remain flat and are handled only by forklifts, significantly reducing the risk of the "manhandling" damage common with individual parcel carriers.
Freight Delivery: What to Expect
Because of the size and weight of our 15mm panels, most orders are shipped via LTL (Less Than Truckload) Freight. This is a professional logistics service that differs from standard small-parcel delivery (like UPS or FedEx Ground).
The Delivery Appointment
When your shipment reaches your local delivery terminal, the freight carrier will contact you via the phone number provided at checkout to schedule a specific delivery window. This ensures that you are present to receive the panels and inspect the packaging. Most freight deliveries are "Curbside," meaning the driver will lower the pallet to the ground using a lift-gate at the end of your driveway or at your building’s loading dock.
Pre-Installation Inspection
While our packaging is the best in the industry, we always recommend a brief inspection upon arrival. Please check the exterior of the boxes for any significant punctures or crushed corners. In the extremely rare event that damage has occurred, simply note the damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before the driver leaves and contact our US-based support team. We take full responsibility for the insurance claims and will ship replacement panels immediately so your project is not delayed.
International and Off-Shore Shipping
Our primary focus is serving the contiguous United States with our 2-to-7 day standard. For customers in Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada, we provide custom shipping quotes. These orders are handled by our specialized international logistics partners who are experts in managing the documentation and specialized handling required for oversized architectural goods across borders.
Transparency and Tracking
We are committed to providing transparency throughout the shipping process. After your order has been shipped, you can track its progress using the tracking information provided in your confirmation email. Delivery timelines are regularly updated on our website and the Track My Order page to ensure you have accurate and up-to-date information about your shipment.
Taxes and Duties
For orders shipped within the USA and European countries, applicable taxes and duties will be calculated during checkout. It is essential for you to ensure compliance with local tax and duty regulations in your region. The Panel Hub is not responsible for additional fees imposed by local customs authorities upon delivery.
Important Notes
Please note that The Panel Hub cannot guarantee specific delivery dates due to factors beyond our control, such as carrier delays or customs clearance processing times. Customers are responsible for any additional costs that may arise from taxes, duties, or corrections to the shipping address. To avoid any inconvenience, please carefully inspect your package upon delivery. If you notice any visible damage, ensure that the carrier’s receipt is marked as “damaged” and contact us immediately for assistance.

As soon as your order is scanned out of our warehouse, you will receive an automated email containing your tracking number and a link to the carrier’s portal. For freight shipments, this portal will show the movement of your pallet between regional terminals until it reaches your local delivery hub.
Standard freight delivery is Curbside. This means the driver is only required to move the pallet to the first dry area of your property (the driveway or sidewalk). Because the panels are 8 feet long and heavy, we recommend having at least two people available to move the individual panels inside your building for acclimation.
The freight carrier will not leave the pallet without a signature. If you miss your scheduled delivery appointment, the carrier may charge a re-delivery fee. We encourage you to select a delivery window when you or a trusted contractor can be on-site to sign for the materials.
Acoustic panels are nearly 8 feet long and weigh roughly 28 pounds each. They require specialized handling, lift-gate trucks, and significant protective materials. We do not profit from shipping; our rates reflect the actual cost of ensuring these premium materials arrive safely and on time via professional freight carriers.
Once a freight shipment is in transit, changing the destination (known as a "reconsignment") can be difficult and often incurs a fee from the carrier. If you realize an error has been made, contact us immediately. We will do everything in our power to intercept the shipment and redirect it before it reaches the final local terminal.
