Most textured panels are embossed. The GroovePanel® Hammer is carved. Each 23.6" × 23.6" panel is worked with a hammer finish that drives deep, irregular grooves across the grain, ridges that catch light at their peaks and fall to near-black in the valleys. A rich ebony stain runs over the whole surface, darkening the depths and letting warm amber break through on every high point. The hand-worked grooves also break up sound reflections, softening echo and giving the room a calmer, more comfortable feel.
